From our R&D department came an idea to create a water-sensor chip for pool and bath safety for young children. Our vision was to embed a water sensor chip in a small case which would clip to the back of a child's nappy. If this device became wet or submerged, the Bluetooth chip inside would send an alert to a dedicated mobile app which was synchronised with the physical device.
